SOUP - Featuring the Private Property of Digil-Label:GEAR FAB Great Appleton, Wisconsin band headed up by the late great Doug Yankus, and featuring their predecessor band- The Private Property Of Digil. While SOUP had their influences in Buffalo Springfield, Ten Years After, and other Blues/Rock traditions, Private Property just oozes with the sounds of the Byrds, Kinks, Beatles, and Dylan. Includes the original 1970 Arf Arm Artists LP, SOUP's only 45 release, and all four 45 releases by Private Property. TANGERINE - Peeling Of(Ultra-rare 71 psych) -Label:GEAR FAB This great Pennsylvania band released their ultra-rare and very psychedelic LP in 1971, recorded at the famous WRS Recording Studios in Pittsburgh, PA. Great guitar work throughout, plus a 13 minute long track which shows off the great talent this band possessed. Very much in the vein of early Iron Butterfly!! CD $10 SKU:18722

LIVERPOOL TODAY-- VA LIVE AT THE CAVERN SALE! ( 60s Merseybeat ) -Label: FANTASTIC VOYAG 1965! Released in November 1965 on the independent Ember label, Liverpool Today documents a rare slice of Merseybeat, made doubly collectable by its association with the legendary Liverpool venue, the Cavern. In a move that was not uncommon in the sixties, the recordings were actually made in a studio, albeit the neighbouring Cavern Sounds and were then overdubbed with audience reaction plus announcements by compere Bob Wooler. A truncated version of the album was released in the United States on Capitol. This reissue has been mastered from original tapes and marks the album s debut on CD. Sleeve notes are by Spencer Leigh, presenter of BBC Radio Merseyside's On The Beat. His books include volumes devoted to Merseybeat and the Cavern. Tracks by artists s.a.
