It Is Forbidden" is a live album by Sun Ra and his Intergalactic Arkestra, recorded at the Ann Arbor Blues & Jazz Festival in 1974. The album captures a performance from the festival, which was held in Windsor, Ontario, due to issues with the original venue. The album is notable for featuring the previously unreleased track "It Is Forbidden," which includes Sun Ra's chanting about the Tree of Knowledge.
