ONE OF THE BAND MEMBERS (DAVE C) IS A FORMER MEMBER OF THE BOMP TEAM WHO DESIGNED MANY OF THE LEGENDARY BOMP STORE FLIERS, INCLUDING DEVO, TALKING HEADS, EDDIE AND THE HOTRODS, and more! Dave got in touch recently and offered us this cd, and of course we're only too happy to carry it.

40 years ago, Los Angeles New Wave-Power Pop band, The Bings recorded an album of crunchy pop songs and suddenly broke up while major record labels were pursuing them. Forty years later, The Bings bass player found the original 1981-82 studio tapes in a file cabinet. They've been restored and digitized. In 2023, these songs are compiled in "Power Pop Planet" , an album worthy of The Romantics, Shoes, and Cheap Trick.

Led by David Chrenko, a former member of the Bomp! Records Team - they put the POWER in Pop Music, capturing everything that was great about the First Wave of the Punk-New Wave-Power Pop music genres.
