HUNNS (DUANE PETERS)-Animals b/w Wild ( punk ) AUTOGRAPHEDby Corey Parks and Duane PEters ! PINK MARBLE VINYL Label:DISASTER Records The HUNNS sound is raw, chainsaw, based on a classic formula : two Les Pauls, drums and bass. Duane, of course, sounds like Duane, but that's the main similarity with the U.S. Bombs : the HUNNS delivery is much more street American rock'n'roll. Now with the addition of ex-NASHVILLE PUSSY COREY PARKS on bass, The HUNNS have become one of the best punk band playing anywhere in the world today. 45 RPM $30 SKU:23191

STEMS - Terminal Cool (83-86 gorgeous pop garage)- Label:GET HIP This brilliant retrospective captures a confident, self-assured band recorded during those hallmark years of ‘83 – ’86, and proves that Australia’s Stems were indeed an extremely varied animal. Brimming with gorgeous pop melodies alongside great garage rock riffs and backbeats, this collection effectively showcases their versatility. This reissue includes 21 golden greats that covers alot of ground from the Fuzztone hits “She’s A Monster” and “Tears Me In Two,” to the bluesy garage stomp of “On And On” ” to the pure pop goodness of “Can’t Forget That Girl”. And there’s no denying the riff rocking prowess of the Byrdsian “Love Will Grow” and the psychedelic snarl of “Jumping To Conclusions.” Top notch ressue here with interesting liner notes and this reissue also includes 5 unreleased bonus tracks. STEPPES - Alive-Alive Oh-Live ( great psych 70s/ folk ) - Label:VOXX Their penultimate release, recorded live in Germany, shows why European audience were so enamored of this band. STEVENS, MEIC - Outlander (1970s Welsh Bob Dylan)-Label:Ye Elde Folk Musique Welsh national treasure Meic Stevens is oft-credited as “the Welsh Bob Dylan,” a press release-friendly thing to write and easy barb for all others to recycle upon the release of his widely overlooked masterpiece Outlander. This lovingly remastered reissue will debunk on that prescription however, as any listener worth his or her weight in wax will hear that Stevens is not merely a kowtow to the artist formerly known as Blind Boy Grunt, but instead the finest and most singular psyche-minded folkie to ever emerge from a corner of the world still trading in near-dead languages. His only English language record, soon after Outlander’s 1970 release a Syd Barrett-esque nervous breakdown forced Stevens home to the hills of the village of Solva. After recovering, he turned to writing strictly in his native tongue, becoming a nationally recognized, yet linguistically marginalized folk and blues figurehead. Outlander never made it out of the isles, restricted to a few British pressings, before Warner Bros. deleted it in the mid-’70s. CD $10 SKU:24337
STONE GARDEN -ST (US. 60s HEAVY PSYCH) Label:GEAR FAB For the late 60’s, there wasn’t a much heavier record thanthis amazing slab of US Heavy Psychedelic/Acid Rock!Stone Garden hailed from a state one could assume was among the last touched by the chemical stimulant-inspired revolution in rock music in the '60s. But you wouldn't be able to tell that from Stone Garden. Cobbled together from live and studio recordings made between 1969 and 1971, the reissue collects virtually every available note by the pack of Idaho teens, including both sides of their lone, extremely rare 45 ("Oceans Inside Me"/"Stop My Thinking"). Aside from that single, all the tracks remained unreleased until appearing as a superbly packaged 1998 Rockadelic LP, reproduced in its entirety on this Gear Fab CD. So is it worth all the archival fuss? Mostly, yes, it really is. Stone Garden is an always blistering and often thrilling racket that splits the difference between the plundering depths of hard rock and the mind-excursion highs of psychedelia (or, more precisely, acid rock), carving out a nifty Western patch of its own. A heady trick for a group of boys from the potato state in the year of Woodstock, and, if dated in minor ways, still body-rattling music decades after the fact. There is some dense riffage (the re-recorded version of "Oceans," "It's a Beautiful Day," an awesome "Woodstick") that comes as close to proto-heavy metal shredding as anything else recorded in or around 1969 (that includes Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, Iron Butterfly, and Blue Cheer), and the band had both an affinity and knack for scintillating, dual-guitar electric blues ("Stop My Thinking"), although the album's sole outright misstep, "SF Policeman Blues," apes early Grateful Dead a little too closely. But there is plenty of consciousness-expanding, detail-intriguing, and ominous melodic shifts, nifty but queasy coats of echo, Zappa-esque avant-garde effects ("Bastard"), and surprisingly mature and hip lyrics -- even if the performances are not exactly nuanced. Subtle Stone Garden was not. But the music can cut you off at the knees and knock the wind out of you, which is pretty impressive stuff. CD $10 SKU:18837
STONE MACHINE ELECTRIC-VIVERE (stoner blues psych)-Label:OFF THE RECORD LABEL Carving its way through earth, stone and space, Texas-based Stone Machine Electric slices off heavy slabs of ominous riffs reinforced by stoner-like overtones with hints of psychedelia and a blues base. This live performance was recorded at the Doublewide in Dallas, Texas on June 3rd, 2016 and captures how the duo crafts and intertwines structured songs with improvised jams, thus creating a continuous, trippy journey from start to finish. Limited to 500 copies worldwide! CD $17 SKU:24490

SUN & THE WOLF-SALUTATIONS (fuzz driven psych Beatles era) SAALE! -Label:WORLD IN SOUND 'Salutations', their second full length, once again opens up the gates to a psychedelic soaked wonderland. 'Salutations' offers an exciting and unexpectedly colourful spectrum throughout its duration! CD $10 SKU:21754
SUPREME JUBILEES--It'll All Be Over (California gospel-soul)Label:LITA If God had a disco, the DJ would be playing California gospel-soul group The Supreme Jubilees. “We won’t have to cry no more,” the tuxedo-clad group would sing, in high, angelic vocals over smooth grooves. “It’ll all be over.” Prepare to dance and contemplate death all at the same time. A band of brothers and cousins, the group was founded from two families: brothers Joe and Dave Kingsby plus Dave’s son David Kingsby Jr., and keyboardist Leonard Sanders plus his brothers Phillips (drummer), Tim (bassist), and Melvin (tenor). The Sanders clan grew up singing together in the Witness of Jesus Christ church in Fresno CA, where dad Marion was pastor. Guitarist Larry Price–who belonged to neither family–completed the line-up that recorded the group’s first–and, prophetically, only–album, It’ll All Be Over. Released in 1980 on the group’s own S&K (Sanders & Kingsby) label, It’ll All Be Over pinpoints a fatalistic mood exemplified by the title. Its lyrics drawn from the Old Testament, its sound from the church by way of the disco, and it’s a feel captured by the album cover–a low, orange sun setting over the Pacific ocean. It is, as Jessica Hundley observes in the brand new liner notes, “both apocalyptic and seductive.” CD $10 SKU:24737
SWAMP RATS- DISCO STILL SUCKS ( primal 60s punk ) -Label:GET HIP Primal 60's Punk and melodic garage from McKeesport, Pennsylvania! The wicked torrent of fuzzed-out mayhem these Steel City hooligans burned onto their ‘66 and ‘67 single sides is legendary, from a raunchy "Louie Louie" that drinks the Kingsmen under the table, to the head-smash of "Psycho," to the gunpowdered cover of the Sparkles’ "No Friend of Mine." But you get not only all the singles on this first-ever proper reissue of their material, but four bona-fide killers from the vaults, including an original muscle-car fuzz romp called "Hey Freak"; an extended version of "Tobacco Road" that’s a shotgun wedding of Nashville Teens R&B hedonism and Blues Magoos Bronx bombshells; a fine bluesy original called "I’m Going Home"; and a spiffy cover of the Kinks’ "She’s Got Everything." With the band members telling their story for the first time in the extensive liners, unseen photos galore, and crisp sound, this is of the best 60's reissue albums ever! CD $10 SKU:22979

13. Tayles Who Are These Guys? (1972) Recorded live at the Nitty Gritty, this collection of blues-rock captures the musical feel of Vietnam-era Madison. Paul Reyzold's organ added pyschedelia that was as bright as a tie-dyed shirt; Scott Eakin's flute was as groovy as a VW bus. Jeremy Wilson started the band in 1966. Like hippie culture, Tayles faded away near the end of 1972. CD $10 SKU:19456
HE PUT THE BOMP- - PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED psych/garage tracks by RADIO MOSCOW,/BLACK KEYS /NIKKI CORVETTE/BARRACUDAS -Label:BOMP his is not a tribute album per se, but more of a remembrance of Greg Shaw and his unique perspective. We asked the bands to go into the studio and cut the cover song they felt was most in tune with the idea of the label and the result is a nice brew of garage punk, power pop and psychedelia that we think captures the spirit and sound of Bomp records.
The Plimsouls and Lyres covered the Easybeats and the Outsiders respectively, the Black Keys surprised us with their rendering of the Cramps "I Can't Find My Mind", while the Dwarves and the Briefs sent their versions of punk classics by the Weirdos and the Zeros.
We also got some nice surprises with the teaming up of Captain Sensible (The Damned) and the late Nikki Sudden for an acoustic cover of Iggy's "Kill City", Chris Wilson of the Flamin' Groovies joined the Barracudas to capture Rocky Erickson's "Two Headed Dog," and a Cleveland super group of sorts tabbed The Dukes Of Earls was formed with ex-members of the Dead Boys and the Stiv Bators' band.
Also included is an amazing rendition of Rockin' Horse's classic "Don't You Ever Think I Cry" by Buffalo Killers (currently on tour with the Black Crowes), a cover of Spacemen 3 by The Warlocks, and much more. The Last even dug up for the occasion their previously unreleased rendering of Jonathan Richman's "Pablo Picasso" recorded back in 1977. There's a lot of cool music on this comp which we hope fans and collectors will enjoy. COMP CD $10 SKU:19890

MARIANI, DOM -& THE MAJESTIC KELP-- HI SEAS (60s surf sounds featuring Dom on guitar) Label:SUGARBUSH Taking its cue and influence from soft '60s surf sounds Dom Mariani's 2018 album also incorporates elements of Lee Hazlewood, Jack Nitzsche and sounds of exotica. Always prevalent, however, is Dom's twangy reverb drenched guitar. What makes this album stand out are the superb arrangements and an overwhelming air of mystery and wonder. Some of the tracks are so laid back as to be almost soporific but keep the listener hooked and awaiting the next surprising twist. The album is almost completely instrumental with a few vocals added here and there. Limited to 300 copies. LP $30 SKU:24119
MARK “PORKCHOP” HOLDER- Death and the BLues -CLASSIC BLACK VINYL -Label:ALIVE Guitarist, singer, harmonica player, and songwriter MARK PORKCHOP HOLDER is a founding member of the seminal Tennessee punk rock blues band The Black Diamond Heavies (with John Wesley Myers aka James Leg, and Van Campbell of the band King Mud).
MARK PORKCHOP HOLDER plays the blues, and his music is the sound of the truth. He has traveled around the world and the US, and played at festivals, clubs, in the streets, at churches, in public toilets, army surplus stores, and in a mental hospital or two. After more than a decade of struggling with depression and addiction, he has finally come back home, in Chattanooga TN, and assembled a first rate power trio.
His debut “Let It Slide” is a blistering blues album that marries both the modern and the traditional. “Let It Slide” has been described by the Chattanooga Pulse as “Boogie, sans bullshit. Dirty roadhouse music. Juke Joint jamming. Swamp rock. Too rock for blues, too blues for rock, the music is hungry, hard and mean." LP $18 SKU:18301

Mondo Drag has shared the stage with bands such as Witchcraft, Dead Meadow, Pentagram, and Radio Moscow, to name just a few. "They rock. MORMOS -The Great Wall of China plus 7” (1972 acid folk) - Label:WAH WAH Recorded in 1971 and originally only issued in France by CBS, the first LP by post-SPOILS OF WAR band Mormos is a masterpiece of fabulous experimental psychedelic acid folk sounds and bizarre melodies. Influences from contemporaries such as The Incredible String Band are present, as are some resemblances to the music of f.i. Comus or Dr. Strangely Strange. Mormos nevertheless created unique athmospheres which were (and are) unheard in other music of the era. Jim Cuomo formed Mormos after the demise of his Spoils Of War project. The new group moved from the USA to France, where they recorded two albums. The first was 'Great Wall Of China', which now gets reissued in cooperation with Cuomo himself. Included is a 7-inch EP featuring 5 bonus tracks and, of course, an insert with notes from Cuomo. Limited to 500 copies only! LP $28 SKU:24772

MOUNT CARMEL - Get Pure- for Radio Moscow fans, heavy blues guitar power trio! ! ) PURPLE -Label:ALIVE Amid the current industry of cool, Mount Carmel’s lack of gimmick is a welcome anachronism. The trio’s third album “Get Pure” is full of swagger, packed with great songs and inspired performances. This is true rock music like you haven’t heard in years. Crank it up!
Mount Carmel reeks of surging guitar riffs and thunderous backbeats. They’re a power trio in the truest sense of the term and certainly nowhere near as anonymous as their cover art would have you believe. As you may have guessed, this is an album for the heavy blues guitar freaks. – 194 LP $18 SKU:16039
MOURNING PHASE - ST (1971 prog folk)Label:SEELIE COURT Extremely complex progressive folk rock, with unique, literate lyrics that poetically manifest the gnarled emotions of a bitter break up, with acerbic guitar strumming and controlled anger. Mourning Phase have remained shrouded in mystery since 1971. This is the first ever legal edition, all previous editions were without the band’s consent. Phenomenally rare test pressing, thought to be only 25x copies made. Only two had hand-drawn covers: one is long lost in a private collection, and here seen for the first time ever is the accompanying decorated sleeve. Mike Conn lives in a cave in Spain, still playing music, and has pursued the life of a hermit since leaving England. The co-singer, Joy, became a session artist working with Mickey Jupp amongst others, and performed on Top of The Pops singing a British top 10 hit; she has been in hiding in the Norfolk hinterlands ever since. The three surviving members tell their stories in the sleevenotes, including the long lost Mike Conn, the songwriter. Reproduces the second, hitherto unseen, handmade cover and band photos. An original example recently sold for £9,000 on Discogs. LP $32 SKU:24685
NERVES One Way Ticket - PURPLE VINYL (70S POWERPOP LEGENDS!) Label:ALIVE Formed in 1975 by guitarist JACK LEE, bassist PETER CASE, and drummer PAUL COLLINS, the Nerves are one of the most influential garage/punk pop outfits to come out of the mid-70's LA scene, and certainly one of the least documented... until now. Mostly remembered for their classic "Hanging On The Telephone," a Jack Lee composition which has been covered over the years by a myriad of artists from BLONDIE to L7 to CAT POWER, the Nerves were above all a high energy rock'n'roll band with all three members composing and singing. Playing fast, ear-catching garage pop songs, sometimes wearing matching suits, the trio had more than a bit of the stripped down street energy of the Los Angeles's early punk movement. They shared the stage with the Ramones and Mink Deville during their infamous US "Magical Blistering Tour," played the Punk Palace and the legendary Masque in Hollywood, and headlined shows with the Avengers, the Zeros, The Dils, The Screamers and Shock, to name just a few. After the band's break-up in 1978, Peter Case and Paul Collins formed The BREAKAWAYS, and later went on to front the legendary PLIMSOULS and The BEAT, respectively. Following the success of "Hanging On the Telephone," JACK LEE has mostly focused on his songwriting career, releasing an album in 1981. Both Peter and Paul are still recording and touring. PETER CASE's latest album "Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John" (Yeproc 2007) was nominated for a Grammy. This collection, authorized for the first time ever by the three band members, features their 1976 EP (now regarded as a power pop classic), as well as demos and previously unreleased live recordings, REMASTERED and complete with notes and photos. STONEBIRDS -Time(French heavy rock SAALE!Label:ACID BUZZ Hailing from central Britanny (France), STONEBIRDS came out in 2008 as a quintet, inspired by both surrounding desolated landscapes and bands like Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss, The Melvins and Alice In Chains. The 2018 album "Time" confirms the band's unique style matured on "Into The Fog" and its ability to write deeply emotional and complex songs. Once again recorded at Kerwax, this record is darker and more contrasted with heavier metal parts and lighter atmospheric moments. STONEBIRDS asserts itself as a singular voice in heavy music landscape. CD $10 SKU:20177

This album is a celebration of the sound of the desert, driven by the spirit of these incredible musicians and artists. 7 original tracks for this incredible debut album which describes how to ride into the dusty roads of the Mojave Desert where it has all begun. SUNFLOWERS- CASTLE SPELL(heavy psych punk shredders) SAALE!Label: STOLEN BODY One can say the band is young and restless, but they bring a well thought mutated slab of paranoia filled heavy shredders, while the hazed sunset fades away in the rearview mirror, darkening the desert and filling the air with some energized psych punk auras. 'Castle Spell' is a 10-story palace, each of them with its own atmosphere, its gloomy and murderous tenants, all narrated by Carol's docile voice and Carlos's intrusive howls. CD $15 SKU:23294
SUNSHINE REVERBERATION-ST(garagepunk,psych/krautrock)Label:WESTERGAARD Heavily influenced by garagepunk, psychedelia and krautrock creating a sonic space similar to artists like King Gizzard, Oh Sees, The Groundhogs and White Fence. They are indeed a four-headed hydra: grinding, wringing and twisting every drop of acid out of rock'n'roll's rotting corpse. CD $17 SKU:23555

MEDIA- BRIGHT NEW FUTURE (YELLOW) (1978 UK punk style) SAALE!~Label:LOVE CHILD The Media were a Portsmouth band formed in 1978, influenced by the UK punk explosion of 1977. The Media played loads of shows, honed their '60s beat meets '70s street/seminal suburban songs, got a bit good, built a large following, released two singles and by 1980 were featured in a youth TV series called 'Going Out'. What could possibly go wrong? Their debut EP 'No Darling I Love The Media' appeared in 1978 on their own Tearaway Records (Cherry Red Records distributed it). A second single, 'Southcoast City Rockers' and 'Back On The Beach' came out the following year on the Portsmouth collective Brain Booster Records. The single showed the band moving on musically, taking in elements of the UK's emerging ska scene (led by The Specials' Two Tone label) and the Mod revival inspired by The Jam. On the back of the money they were paid for the 'Going Out' TV series, the band went in the studio with the aim of recording songs for an album - 9 songs were completed. But, trouble at one of their support slots led to the cancellation of a series of gigs, including a prominent London show, and the band split in 1981. Fast forward 37 years and the master tapes from that album session were found by a band member in their loft. On the advice of Acid Attack's Dave Clarke the tape is sent to Paul Orwell at Love Child Records, who in turn played it to Adam Cooper of parent company Heavy Soul Records, both of these uber music fans gave it a massive thumbs up. So now 40 years after release of first Media EP the album 'Bright New Future' is now available LP $24 SKU:23200
METABOLISME -Tempus Fugit ( 1977 French prog )SAALE!-Label:REPLICA (France): First inspired by hard-rock as played by Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, the band then discovered the works of Uriah Heep. With the help of keyboards player Thierry Scaduto, a symphonic touch added a nice aspect to the music. Under the influence of Genesis, Yes and Premiata Forneria Marconi, Metabolisme changed its musical style to play Progressive rock. Signed to RCA's Crypto sub-label, Metabolisme were great at dark atmospheres, processed fuzzy guitars and lost vocals. When they burst out of a slow number and rip into a tight ensemble piece you might hear touches of Arachnoid. The spacey Pink Floyd atmosphere recalls Pulsar, especially at the time of "Pollen" . The album opens with the longest track, nearly 16 minutes of pure delight, featuring two lush keybords passages and great guitar chops. One instrumental track, 'Tempus,' shows that they were capable to creat great prog rock, with captivating guitar keyboard parts. Released as late as 1977, the album didn't stand a chance of making it to a larger audience in a time in which punk rock started its devastating heyday. The music offered on the album was far to fine- drawn for the period in which it was released. Still, Metabolisme's "Tempus Fugit," their one and only album, is a treasure for those who love lush organs in the style of Yes, sophisticated guitars Uriah Heep and French vocals a la Mona Lisa. Is that you? then you need to buy this record. LP $19 SKU:21016
