GRAHAM PARKER AND THE RUMOUR- Stick to Me - With inner sleeve and stickers-Label:MERCURY VG condition cover, vinyl is mint in London in 1975. Initially managed by Stiff Records founder Dave Robinson (3), Graham Parker was put together with former members of Brinsley Schwarz by his management and they became a huge and electrifying live draw, bridging New Wave with the earlier Pub-Rock scene. They recorded five albums together until they split in 1980. The Rumour also recorded three albums without Parker over the period. LP $5 SKU:23862

HONKEYFINGER-Invocation Of The Demon Other (Fuzz driven blues) Label:HOARSE When it comes to today’s one-man bands you won’t find anyone else out there quite like London’s Honkeyfinger, who has made it his business to further bend and twist the already curved-line formula of underground music…certainly more than most have dared to in recent years. With his signature sound of filthy as hell blues and hard as nails primitive rock’n’roll played on fuzz-driven lap steel, a partial drum kit, frantic harmonica, and slightly distorted vocals, this Doctor Frankenstein one-man band has given life to a musical patchwork monster of sorts. It’s an altogether experimental sound, Honkeyfinger’s music, gritty and frenzied, dirty and electric, primal and pounding and unhinged, as if he has bottleneck slide implements and picks for fingers, kick drums for feet, and a megaphone for a mouth. That is to say, he is his music. They are one and the same. All of his appendages work arduously, simultaneously, to make it what it is. LP $15 SKU:23858

JAIL -There's No Sky (Oh My My)( 2009 indie psych pop oddity)-Label:NO LABEL Includes pitch letter from the band to ALIVE RECORDS - The first full-length album by indie rock band Jaill. Originally released under the name Jail. The album had a very limited release in 2009 as a "small-press hand made copy" Jaill are doing their best to craft the perfect three-minute garage pop song, and while none of the 13 tracks on There's No Sky quite meet that aim, the band's doing an admirable job trying. "Beggar Sincere" rides muffled, broken-amp riffs with a spate of Midwest charm and twang that's never overbearing or overblown.

Granted, that twang is occasionally turned up and gone southern. There's the slower, weeping lo-fi "Stuffed"; if there's a ballad on the record, this is probably it. But its systematic handclaps and patient country guitar atmosphere sets an interesting tone for it and a consequential early break for the record. "Out of Your Boots" is another easier romp, with a '60s folk vibe about it too.

"The Biggest Nugget of Them All" may be a not-so-thinly veiled reference to a certain drug or another, but it's got this cool, almost joyous tone about it and some more spacey guitar effects to boot. It's like the most tasteful, lightly psychedelic layer possible, really. LP $15 SKU:23859

MC5-Thunder Express- 200 gram vinyl Label:MUNSTER 1999 release. Legendary studio sessions made at Herouville Castle in March 1972 with MC5 kickin' out maximum energy. You can hear their classics ("Ramblin' Rose," Kick Out the Jams," "Rama Lama Fa Fa Fa," "I Just Don't Know," etc.) alternated with really inspired versions of The Stones' "Empty Heart," John Lee Hooker's "Motor City Is Burning" and their Them meets Blue Cheer assault on "I Can Only Give You Everything." Mastered from the original master tapes, Thunder Express is amazing proof of how much Detroit Motor City's energy can be packed onto reel-to-reel tape. LP $20 SKU:23860
