Description

Mary Stone (later Mary Huffman) was a songwriting partner and friend's mother who collaborated with rock musician Bobby Fuller during his early days in El Paso, Texas. Mary was the mother of Bobby's friend Rick, creating a creative bridge across different generations.

SET CONTAINS:

 (1) HANDWRITTEN LETTER FROM RICK STONE ,front and back with drawings of his proposed cover , CIRCA EARLY 80S

(2) TWO PAGES OF SHEET MUSIC FROM MARY STONE, Song called Thank You Darling. CIRCA EARLY 80S

(3) SMALL COLOR MINI COVER, PROBABLY USED AS A SAMPLE TO SHOW WHAT THE COVER MIGHT LOOK LIKE. CIRCA EARLY 80S

Bobby Fuller recorded a demo version of the song during his early home-studio recording sessions in El Paso. While it wasn't a major commercial release during Fuller's lifetime, the recording has survived and has occasionally been circulated by collectors and featured on comprehensive archival releases of his early El Paso tapes and home sessions. This is the sheet music that was sent to us by Rick.
