An album much beloved by Hans Pokora. Two alternate versions of songs from the album are included as bonus tracks

Only album by psychedelic folk duo formed by brothers Dimitri and Negendre Arbo, part of a set of folk groups from Brasil comprised of “gaúchos” (native country people); Quintal de Clorofila is one of the few bands of this sort who got to make a record, which was released by the independent label Bobby Som in 1983. For this LP, Quintal de Clorofila recorded their own compositions, with lyrics by their brother, the poet Antônio Carlos Arbo. According to Dimitri Arbo, the band mixed rock, medieval music, Afro, oriental and Latin rhythms... a blend of music they dubbed "Viking Rock" (not sure why). It’s a complex sound to be sure, with tremendous depth and abundant inspiration evident throughout all of the album’s atmospheric songs.
